HARTMAN CEMETERY
 
The first persons buried in the Hartman Cemetery, located just to the east of the Hartman Cabin on US Route 50 and Aber Road, were Lucy and Catherine Hartman, daughters of William Hartman, in February of 1811.  W.P. Lucas, one of the first and most respected teachers in Jackson Township is buried there as well.
